We always begin by thinking about the visitor - your customers. We consider two things: how we want people to feel when they’re using the space, and the time - in terms of quality as well as quantity - that they’re going to spend there.
Emotional spaces
We start by asking our clients how they want their customers to feel when they walk into a space. We want to understand the desired effect a space has on the people that will use it, and how, in turn, they can influence the feel of the environment they’re in.
Time spent
We believe that engagement over a period of time turns an environment into an experience for customers. Thinking about an environment from the perspective of time is an important part of how we work. For example, we think about the amount of time your customers will spend in your environment depending on their needs; the quality of the time they have; how the environment changes over time, either throughout the day or even seasons of the year.
